Optimize the Future of Immersive Video
The Opportunity
Our immersive video platform is built upon sophisticated graphics, computer vision, and AI algorithms that have been developed through years of research. While these algorithms demonstrate the capabilities of the technology, they must be optimized for performance, scalability, and deployment on modern heterogeneous computing platforms. You will analyze existing implementations, identify computational bottlenecks, and develop optimized software libraries that maximize performance while preserving algorithm quality.
What You'll Do
- Analyze existing graphics, computer vision, and AI implementations to identify performance bottlenecks.
- Refactor research code into clean, maintainable, production-quality C++ code.
- Improve computational efficiency while maintaining algorithm accuracy and quality.
- Optimize software for execution across CPUs, GPUs, NPUs, and emerging AI accelerators.
- Apply parallel programming, vectorization, multithreading, and hardware acceleration techniques.
- Explore optimization strategies that leverage modern processor architectures (SIMD, SYCL/DPC++).
- Develop benchmarking tools and performance metrics.
Required Qualifications
- Strong programming skills in modern C++.
- Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, and software engineering fundamentals.
- Experience profiling, debugging, and optimizing software performance.
- Experience developing software using Visual Studio, CMake, or similar development environments.
- Ability to understand complex mathematical or algorithmic implementations and translate them into efficient production software.
- Curiosity and willingness to learn new programming models, libraries, and hardware architectures.
Preferred Qualifications
- Computer Graphics, Computer Vision, and AI / Machine Learning experience.
- Parallel programming and multithreading.
- SIMD or vectorization.
- Experience with SYCL / DPC++, OpenCV, or OpenVINO.
- DirectX, Vulkan, OpenGL, or Intel VPL.
- Video processing or codecs.
