Systems Software Engineer (C++)
Help Transform Research into Products
The Opportunity
Our current software consists of a collection of research prototypes, libraries, SDKs, and hardware interfaces that have successfully demonstrated the core technology. As we transition toward commercial products, you'll help transform these components into a cohesive, maintainable, and scalable software platform. You'll work across multiple layers of the software stack, integrating camera systems, graphics libraries, AI modules, networking, middleware, and hardware acceleration into production-quality applications.
What You'll Do
- Refactor research prototypes into clean, modular, production-quality C++ software.
- Improve maintainability, reliability, scalability, and code quality.
- Design and implement middleware, SDKs, and supporting infrastructure.
- Integrate graphics, AI, computer vision, networking, and hardware interfaces into unified applications.
- Build reusable APIs that simplify integration across the software stack.
- Work with camera SDKs, graphics APIs, AI inference engines, codecs, and communication frameworks.
- Debug complex interactions across software components.
Required Qualifications
- Strong programming skills in modern C++.
- Experience building medium-to-large software systems.
- Experience integrating multiple software components into complete applications.
- Experience using Visual Studio, CMake, and modern software development workflows.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to understand and improve existing codebases.
Preferred Qualifications
- Computer graphics, computer vision, and video processing or codecs.
- Networking or communication systems.
- Experience with OpenCV, OpenVINO, Intel VPL, or SYCL / DPC++.
- DirectX, Vulkan, or OpenGL.
Why V3DEO?
You'll work directly with the team that invented the underlying technology and help transform advanced research into production-ready software. Rather than maintaining legacy systems, you'll help build the core software platform that integrates graphics, AI, computer vision, and high-performance computing into the next generation of immersive communication products.
